PANTEON: SILAKBO

An ongoing mythical fantasy graphic novel retelling a Filipino myth. The deity Bathala creates the world, but alongside it, a deadly serpent of the sky appears with the intention of ending the god’s reign.

6th Place in the Graphic Novel Category of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Young Creatives Challenge Season 1.

Feathered Fighter Without A Lover

A short fable comic strip about a lone rooster in the pursuit of finding a mate, meeting different endemic birds that give him advice on how masculinity is not always about dominance and violence.

Anito: Avatars of the Pearl

An arts-based research project about designing characters inspired by the natural resources of the Philippines. These are characters based on the Philippines' endemic wildlife species and nature tourist attractions.

 

Showcased in the 15th De La Salle University (DLSU) Arts Congress Exhibition and presented in the 4th De La Salle University (DLSU) Senior High School Research Congress Program and Exhibition.

 A short comic strip from the perspective of an impoverished aspiring police officer becoming a victim of police brutality, a social issue in the Philippines.

5th Place in the Comic Arts Category of the Philippine Women's University (PWU) - National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Visual Arts Awards 2022.
